Great stay at Mansala Safari House Fantastic stay with very friendly and generous hosts who were so welcoming. Breakfast and dinner were superb . The aubergine curry was the best dish of our stay in Sri Lanka so far . Genuine Sri Lankan hospitality A superb experience, with care and attention from the hosts and great communication. They were able to arrange our safari and visit to Transit Elephant Centre easily and to our timings. The room was large and easily accommodated the three of us. Breakfast was freshly cooked with juice, fruit, eggs and pancakes. There were eateries close by to, we enjoyed VibeX a couple of times. A warm and friendly experience.

Lovely place to stay! An ideal place to stay when visiting Udawalawe National Park. Tiron and his family are very welcoming and helpful. We had 2 rooms and north were spotless, had plenty of hot water and very comfortable beds. One of the rooms had a liaise bathroom which was so cool. We had breakfast and dinner there and both were delicious. I would highly recommend Mansala Safari House to anyone ponding on visiting the area, it really is 10/10!

Totally 5 star. Book you won’t be disappointed Deserves all 5 star 🌟 rating, totally amazing place, loved every minute of pur stay, only wish we had booked longer. From the moment we pulled up to the lodge and were welcomed with a handshake and a great smile from Tiron. The place really does look like a Safari Lodge , standing as it is in the Jungle. We were given a huge room with 2 king sized beds - air conditioning- tea & coffee making facilities - large bathroom, we even had a private terrace & balcony with tables & chairs. Woke early and had cup of tea on the terrace. Beautifully quiet and peaceful with only birdsong to be heard , and a squirrel scampering around on the roof. Absolutely stunning place. Tiron the manager/ proprietor arranged a safari trip for us. It was faultless, picked up at hotel on time by one of the hotel’s own vehicles. Very comfortable and we had it to ourselves. Friendly and knowledgeable driver / guide. We had a fabulous evening meal at the Lodge , home cooked Sri Lankan food served buffet style. Large variety of menu items all freshly cooked and hot .Absolutely delicious. The breakfast that was included and was also extremely good. Plenty to choose from - lovely Ceylon Tea . Really enjoyed our stay there. Wonderful value for money- charming hosts and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended.

Very good property Stayed here for 3 nights and had an excellent experience. The room was spacious, clean with a very good sized. Overhead balcony giving views onto the front gardens. It was very quiet on a nighttime and we had good sleeps here. The food was excellent, both breakfast and evening meals, the host is an excellent cook. We went on a safari booked via our host. Our jeep and driver were excellent and would thoroughly recommend the whole experience. Our host provided us with bottles of water and a pair of binoculars . Unforgettable experience with Tiron and his family. We had a wonderful two night stay with Tiron and his family in his beautiful home. Tiron made arrangements for a brilliant guide/driver to take us to Udawalawa on an unforgettable safari and we very much enjoyed the breakfast and supper meals they cooked for us. Highly recommend.
